BabyReady

Privacy

Your data simply stays on your phone.

Last updated: August 25, 2026

BabyReady was built to count baby clothes, not to track you. This policy describes exactly which data the app and the website use, and why. It is short on purpose, because there is little to report.

What the app stores

Everything you enter in BabyReady, such as your items, counts and sizes, plus what you fill in during the setup wizard (your due date and optionally your baby's gender), is stored in a database on your own device. There is no account and that data never leaves your phone. We cannot access it.

If you delete the app, you delete this data with it. Note that a device backup (iCloud or Google) may include app data; those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's policies.

Error reports and diagnostics

To keep the app stable, BabyReady sends technical log messages to our own server (logs.resoftware.work, operated by Re: Software). This happens when the app starts and when something goes wrong, such as a crash.

These messages contain the app version, the platform (iOS or Android), the operating system version, your device's make and model, and for errors the technical error details. They never contain your inventory, your input, your name, your location or an advertising ID. We use them solely to find and fix bugs, and keep them no longer than needed for that.

One-time migration from the old app

Did you use our previous app (Baby Uitzet)? Then BabyReady fetches your old data once at first launch, such as your due date and counts. To do so, the app sends a technical device identifier to the old app's server. After that everything lives locally and this never happens again. If you never used the old app, nothing is found and nothing is stored.

Payments

You buy BabyReady through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive or see any payment details.

The babyready.app website

This website uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. There is one functional cookie that remembers your language choice. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to serve and secure the site.

The fonts on this site are loaded through Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address.

Children

BabyReady is aimed at (expecting) parents, not at children. As described above, the data you enter about your child stays on your own device.

Your rights and contact

Because your data lives on your own device, you are in full control: viewing, editing and deleting happens in the app, and deleting the app deletes everything. If you have questions about this policy, or a request regarding the technical log messages (such as access or deletion under the GDPR), send us an email.

Changes

If the app or the website ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy and change the date at the top.
