Amir Khan and Kiran Rao

Amir Khan who married Kiran Rao in the year 2005 welcomed their baby Azad Rao Khan with the help of IVF surrogacy. The couple has been very vocal about IVF and also opened up about their struggles with miscarriages.

Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan

Already parents to Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan, SRK and Gauri announced the birth of their third child AbRam via surrogacy in the year 2013. It is reported that the couple tried to conceive naturally for over two years but later considered surrogacy with suggestion from friends and family.

Lisa Ray

In the year 2018, Lisa Ray, Actress and model, announced the birth of her twin daughters via surrogacy. The two girls were born in Georgia. Lisa, unfortunately couldn’t conceive on her own as she was diagnosed with cancer in the past and would have to be on lifelong dose of medication.

Karan Johar

Karan Johar in the year 2017 announced birth of his kids-Roohi and Yash. Unlike many of his industry friends, Karan is a single father and opted for surrogacy. She suffered from a couple of miscarriages before opting for surrogacy.

Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder

Bollywood Choreographer and Director announced the birth of her triplets in the year 2008. Farah opted for IVF at the age of 43 and has been very vocal about the benefits of the ART treatment.

Tusshar Kapoor

Just like sister Ekta, Tusshar Kapoor is also a single parent. The actor welcomed son Laksshya in the year 2016 with the help of IVF surrogacy. He is amongst the first Indian celebrities who choose to be a single father.

Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber

After adopting their daughter Nisha in the year 2017, in 2019, Sunny and Daniel announced the birth of their sons Asher and Noah via surrogacy.
